Vanessa approaches her work with a soulful perspective, emphasizing female empowerment and a love for life's simple pleasures. Vanessa's style is light-hearted, soulful and warm. She allows herself to get messy with paint and embrace's her studio space to be a loose and free sanctuary for her work. Vanessa spends most of her time in her art studio that is located on a small farm in Norfolk County, Ontario. Her artwork has always helped her express when words can’t. Being a traveling photographer as well.. she often uses her own imagery as reference for her paintings.
